Renault Mégane shows new face ahead of 2016 launch

The new Renault Mégane made its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, and is due to go on sale early in 2016. Renault has placed quality and style at the heart of the Mégane design, and created an innovative D-segment car.

Featuring distinctive head and tail lights and a low stance, the new Mégane is poised and sporty. The large diamond logo gives the car a distinctly Renault face to match the rest of the model range.
Inside, the spacious cabin has a simple and uncluttered layout, finished with a gloss black and polished aluminium trim. If you choose a higher specification model, you can enjoy a seven or nine-inch portrait touchscreen along with an advanced head-up display.

For those looking for a more athletic look and drive, there is a GT trim with 18-inch alloy wheels, a honeycomb grille and sports seats. The engine line-up will comprise a range of sprightly and efficient petrol and diesel units. The Mégane Renaultsport will arrive slightly later, and bring a 300bhp turbo charged petrol engine and even racier design tweaks. Variations in body styles will also be available in the future, with estate and three-door coupé versions in the pipeline.
