What a year 2016 was for Ford…

2016 saw Ford celebrate the 40th birthday of one of its most popular models, the Fiesta. Since rolling off the production line in 1976 the Fiesta has become Europe’s best-selling car. After celebrating the milestone with a reflection on previous models, Ford released the specification of the all-new Fiesta which is set to be the world’s most technologically advanced small car.

In other celebrations, Ford picked up a number of prestigious awards throughout the year including ‘Best Hot Hatchback’ for the Focus ST and ‘Best Car Under £10,000’ for the all-new KA+.

After saying goodbye to one of its popular models, the Ford KA, Ford introduced the brand new Ford KA+. Starting from £9,245 the Ford KA+ offers outstanding interior space and excellent fuel efficiency for a small, compact car. Expansion was all seen last year within Ford’s SUV range as the new Ford Kuga was unveiled. Introducing a more technologically advanced, sporty and efficient Kuga, the model underwent a redesign which saw the introduction of new headlights, a trapezoidal grille and sophisticated new technologies including Ford SYNC 3, hands-free parking and Active City Stop.
