What Ford has in store for 2015

Ford Logo

Ford is looking forward to a successful 2015, with a number of new model releases and updates scheduled for the coming months. These changes feature across the manufacturer’s diverse line-up to offer more to its loyal customers and tempt motorists away from rival carmakers. We explore below the vehicles set for release, all of which will be available from RMB Ford Northallerton.

The Mustang muscles into the UK

One of the most hotly-anticipated releases is the iconic Ford Mustang muscle car, which will enter the UK market for the first time this year. Now in its 50th year of production, the right-hand drive version will arrive with a potent 5.0-litre V8 engine or one of the carmaker’s refined 2.3-litre EcoBoost units.

A sophisticated new Mondeo

Joining the Mustang will be a next-generation Mondeo set to be produced in a variety of forms. From a refined 1.0-litre petrol to a four-wheel drive variant, the new hatchback will offer something for almost everyone.

Focus roars back with standard and ST versions

Hitting the market early on in 2015 with the Mondeo will be the latest Focus, which follows the outgoing example’s success as the UK and Ford’s biggest-selling car of 2014. The standard Focus and its ST hot hatch alternative have been given a facelift to enhance the appeal, with swathes of advanced new kit also included to offer buyers more.

Enhanced MPV practicality

Family motorists who need more space than the Focus can deliver will be pleased to learn that the S-MAX and C-MAX lines are also being revised in 2015 for even greater comfort and practicality. The stylish S-MAX appeals with its sporty looks, while the flexible five-seat C-MAX sits alongside its bigger sibling, the seven-seat Grand C-MAX. To improve the on-board experience the brand’s latest SYNC system will be fitted to each, enabling voice control of various on-board functions.

With so many developments scheduled for 2015 it’s no surprise Ford is expecting a busy year. Here at RMB Ford we’re also looking forward to welcoming many customers through our doors to explore the latest line-up, and you can test drive any model as soon as it’s delivered to our dealership.
